Liberty County School System
The Liberty County School System was awarded district accreditation by SACS CASI in March 2011. To obtain district accreditation a school system must meet the standards for accreditation every five years, demonstrate a systemic and continuous process of improvement and implement methods that provide quality assurance. Our next renewal accreditation visit is scheduled for 2016.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church and has been providing quality Christian education for over 30 years. We have a great heritage of spiritual, academic and athletic excellence. We are a private Christian school with grades ranging from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), Hinesville Campus
At Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Liberty Center in Hinesville, you’ll find quality academic programs and dedicated faculty, bringing higher education to residents of Liberty County and surrounding areas, and also providing special services to Fort Stewart military and military families. A variety of programs are offered or supported, including associate’s degrees in arts and applied sciences, and bachelor’s degrees criminal justice, nursing, early childhood education, middle grades education, and liberal studies.
Savannah Technical College, Hinesville
The Liberty Campus of Savannah Technical College is located on Airport Road and Highway 119 in Hinesville, Georgia. The state of the art campus is nestled on 60 acres and serves more than 700 students every quarter.
We offer courses leading to associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in Health Sciences, General Studies, Business and Technology, and Industrial and Public Service. Many of our programs can be completed in their entirety at the Liberty Campus.
Fort Stewart Army Education Center
(open to civilians, as well as military)
The Department of Defense has resumed the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts, MyCAA, program for qualifying spouses only. The program now assists spouses of active duty service members in the pay grades of Private to Sergeant, Warrant Officers 1 to 2, and Second and First Lieutenants to achieve portable careers. The approved education programs are for associate degrees, licensure, and certifications. Funding assistance will be up to $4,000 with an annual cap of $2,000 per fiscal year.
